THE NUKUTE
COLLARE

The Collare is the tracheal breathing wearable from Nukute. It consists of powerful acoustic sensors and a movement sensor. These two sensors provide data on the air flow and movement of the patient, two important biomarkers for the correct detection and diagnosis in Sleep Apnea. The Nukute collare not only detects and analyses your breathing sounds (tracheal breathing sounds), it also can determine snoring events, breathing volume, movement events, positioning, among other parameters. Our Sleep Apnea diagnosis technology and algorithms have been validated in clinical studies and report results comparable to the standard of care, in a better, more efficient, more cost effective and remote way.

people worldwide

A new data analysis from a 2019 study and published at the Lancet respiratory journal indicates that the prevalence of sleep apnea impacts more than 936 million people worldwide – nearly 10 times greater than previous estimates.

Sleep Apnea makes managing Diabetes worse

Several studies have been published indicating the prevalence of OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) in patients with Diabetes type 2, which is 71%. This is significantly bigger to the prevalence in the general population, which is 4-10%. There is also evidence that Sleep apnea contributes to insulin resistance and glucose intolerance.
